Patrick McCloskey has lent his diverse artistic talents to many mediums, from photography to sculpture, painting to graphic design. A Pennsylvania native, McCloskey now lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, where his collage series has drawn attention on both coasts. The whimsically imagined pieces made from found books and magazines transcend any temporal or spatial reference point, leaving a colorful pastiche that lasts beyond the ephemeral nature of pop culture. McCloskey has had his work displayed in the Pancakes and Booze Art Show in Los Angeles and Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, and he has been featured in both Pattern and Really Great magazines, as well as in The Lab's featured artist blog in the UK, for his distinctive collage work. He continues to create using various forms, imbuing each piece with his distinctive, quizzical style and driving passion.
